Isola

Commissioned for the double-height drawing room of a historic Mayfair penthouse, Isola serves as a portal to an imagined Eden. The challenge was to integrate the room's existing architectural mouldings into a cohesive panoramic narrative that ascends from an earthly garden to a gilded sky.

Our artisans spent four weeks on-site, applying layers of Venetian plaster to create a depth of texture before hand-painting the flora and fauna. The final touch involved meticulously applying 24-karat gold leaf to the upper canopy, catching the afternoon light and casting a warm, ethereal glow throughout the space.
